ABE appoints two ambassadors who represent the ABE way

It’s the ABE way to go beyond what is necessary.  It’s about giving back and making a difference.  With this in mind, we have appointed two ABE ambassadors who personify these values: Selveena Parmanum from Mauritius and Sanjeevika Dissanayake from Sri Lanka.

Selveena

Entrepreneur and Top Paper winner Selveena Parmanum, has been a proactive ABE alumnus for many years sharing and commenting on ABE posts on Facebook as well as taking the time to write blogs in order to support new ABE learners by sharing her knowledge and experience.  She is a fantastic example of someone who takes pride in their community.

Sanjeevika Dissanayake is an ABE Top Paper winner who, as centre head of IUHS campus, decided to take all ABE Level 6 units in order to give confidence and inspiration to her students. She is following this up by taking all remaining Level 6 units for every stream.  If this is not impressive enough, she is doing her ABE qualifications whilst also studying at Goldsmiths University in London for a Masters (her second) in Education: Culture, Language and Identity.  She remains involved in IUHS overseeing business operations from the UK and is a proactive supporter, regularly liking and sharing ABE posts on LinkedIn.  Sanjeevika is a great example of someone who does not compromise.

Both Selveena and Sanjeevika are inspirational role models who give back and show what the ABE way means in practice, that is why they are ABE Ambassadors.
