Derron Francois chose to pursue ABE qualifications for its international recognition, comprehensive approach, and commitment to educating future business professionals. He says ‘’studying with ABE allows for better recognition and exposure to more opportunities.’’ Read his full story below:
My name is Derron Francois and I hail from the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, as a professional in my field with a modest educational background. I identified the importance of self-development in terms of my management skills. This became apparent as my career began to accelerate toward upper management.
As a result, I was drawn to ABE qualifications due to its international recognition, comprehensive approach, and commitment to educating and developing future business professionals. This in turn led me to embark on my journey at The School of Higher Education Limited (SHEL), Trinidad and Tobago. ABE, The School of Higher Education, and its staff have opened my eyes and I am now looking forward to one day standing at the top of my profession as the confidence gained has pushed me to further my development. Lecturers were willing to assist me in my journey for academic and professional excellence. Their approach toward education stood out to me due to their passion for sharing knowledge in an innovative, dynamic, and efficient manner. My Managing Agile Organizations and People lecturer, Mark Samuel was the personification of this and the support of my family and girlfriend were also key to my success.
ABE qualifications are highly recognised and respected both in my country and across the world. Many of my associates are ABE alumni and they stand by the fact that it is one of the best decisions they could have made for the advancement of their professional careers. Upon completion of my level 5 diploma, I aim to further my studies and build upon what I have learned.
Studying with ABE, allows for better recognition not only in your country of residence but also on a global scale, exposing you to more opportunities you may not have had without ABE’s international recognition. A key benefit of studying the ABE qualification for me is its well-rounded approach which allows students to think outside the box and develop both leadership and teamwork skills. I am now able to better lead and manage staff efficiently and effectively because of the skills I learned as a result of my studies.
My advice to anyone seeking to achieve excellence is to never procrastinate. When studying with ABE, it’s expected that you do the necessary work in order to satisfy the high standards that come from an internationally respected institution. Procrastination will only slow you down and decrease your academic potential which in turn affects your overall growth and development both in your academic and professional life.
The ABE portal has a wealth of knowledge at your disposal so don’t hesitate to take advantage of them as soon as possible. Remember it’s your responsibility to focus and manage your time efficiently to avoid procrastination, it worked for me so I’m sure that it can work for you.
