Shaniyah chose ABE because she is passionate about business and plans to eventually run her own enterprise. She shares some great advice for study saying, "It is also important to believe in oneself and never give up no matter how hard it gets, always remind yourself why you are doing what you are in the first place." #ABEway. Here's her story:
"I am from Guyana, South America. My family is made up of myself, my mother, one elder sibling, and one younger. My late grandparents were my biggest supporters and motivators, helping me realise the importance of education. My main priority in life thus far has been completing my education so that I would be able to have a stable job and then set up my own business.
I chose to study ABE at Nations University because I have always been passionate about business and plan to one day have my own. Studying ABE has been extremely helpful to me because it has enabled me to gain more knowledge about each business subject. I believe that ABE offers the best business courses and I have the best lecturers who are always very helpful and informative providing excellent delivery of the course materials. I would recommend ABE to any individual who is equally as passionate about business as I am since it is a widely recognised programme that can help you in achieving your goals.
I believe that ABE has made a positive impact on the public as well as employers in my country. It is a programme that many people are interested in pursuing and one that employers are looking for during recruitment.
My immediate plans after gaining a diploma in both Level 4 and 5 in Business Management is to pursue my degree in Business Administration at Nations University and to then move on to a Masters in Business Administration.
The best thing about studying Business Management with ABE would be how flexible the timings are for classes. Along with how professional and helpful the lecturers are in delivering very informative and educational course material.
I have gained many skills from studying with ABE one of which would be managing my time better. I have learnt to create a flexible studying schedule for myself. I have also become much more articulate since interacting with lecturers and giving presentations.
While studying is not an easy task, I believe that creating a manageable study schedule for oneself is important. You will be able to balance both your personal and professional life. It is also important to believe in oneself and never give up no matter how hard it gets, always remind yourself why you are doing what you are in the first place.
My long-term career plans for the future involve becoming an entrepreneur and setting up my own business operations."
