''My name is Thae Su Lwin. I was born and raised in Myanmar as the eldest one of my family among two siblings. My family has always been supportive of my education, and I have pursued my studies with their encouragement. I’m also a medical student now. During the Covid-19 crisis, I found an opportunity for personal and professional growth by delving into the realm of business. Simultaneously, I assumed the role of Manager in our family business, a store that offers a diverse range of products, including clothes, bags, watches, and various accessories. As the Manager of our family store, I quickly realised that I’m interested in business.
I chose to study ABE because of its reputation for providing practical and industry-focused business education. The main reason is their flexible structure and international recognition of ABE qualifications. Their affordable course fees also influenced my decision. I pursued my ABE course at Rakhine Professional Development Academy (RPDA) in Sittwe, Myanmar. My journey was through the online course and my instructor is Mr. Ye Htet Lwin Oo. In my country, ABE is generally well-regarded by both the public and employers. The practical nature of the curriculum and the emphasis on real-world skills have contributed to a positive perception.
After completing my current ABE qualification, my immediate plan is to apply the knowledge and skills gained in my professional career. I aspire to secure a position that aligns with my goals and allows for continuous learning and growth. The best thing about studying with ABE is the practical and applicable nature of the curriculum. The real-world focus of the courses ensures that I am well-prepared for the challenges of the business environment. Through ABE, I have developed strong analytical and critical thinking skills. The emphasis on teamwork and communication has also enhanced my interpersonal skills, making me more effective in collaborative work environments.
One key tip for a successful study is to stay organised, manage time effectively, actively participate in discussions and seek additional resources are essential for understanding complex topics. For someone who already holds a business position, you should use the course materials in your real life. You can also check the results of this process and the strengths and weaknesses of this course.
In the long term, I want to join the University of Hertfordshire to pursue both a Bachelors and Masters degree. The journey from ABE qualification to university studies is perceived as a continuous trajectory of self-improvement, where each phase builds upon the foundations laid by the preceding one, ultimately culminating in a career that is both fulfilling and impactful.''
