Toraub works as a lecturer at SNIT. His background is in Information Technology but he had always wanted to study management and he is greatly enjoying developing skills in new areas. Here is his story:
I am from the region of Grand Bois, and work as a lecturer of Computing with Business Management at SNIT Business School.
I choose to study ABE to increase my knowledge in Management. Despite having done most of my courses in Information Technology, Management was something that I always wanted to study.
My plan after completing the Level 4 Foundation Business Management is to progress through ABE Levels 4, 5 and 6 in Business Management, HR Management and Marketing Management.
The best thing about studying ABE is the skills and knowledge you gain throughout each and every module at each level. This has helped me to develop my skills and confidence - I am confident that I can manage a department in the organisation I am working for. The skills gained have helped me hugely in understanding the marketing and business development process.
Google scholars and ABE journal are two essential tools which can be useful for successful study. Students must read business news and stay up to date with the business success and failure. Long term my plan is to complete a Masters in Business Management.
